Slime Evolve
How to play:
For now, the game's objective is to beat the most waves before dying. Up until 1:30s the faster you kill all of the slimes the more statistics you will get.
You move with [WSAD] and target basic attacks [LMB] and spells [RMB] with the mouse cursor.
Additionally, you have access to two movement abilities:
Blink [SPACE] - instantly teleports you towards your cursor at a capped distance. Allows you to go over water, obstacles, and enemies.
Dash [SHIFT] - which for a brief period of time launches you towards the mouse cursor with great speed.
There are different chests scattered across the map containing new spells and weapons. Destroy chests with basic attacks and pick up the spell/weapon by standing next to it and pressing [E].
Each element dominates one element and resists one element, also each element resists itself although the self-resistance is smaller than a regular. The element system makes it so Weapons and Spells of a particular element deal increased and decreased damage based on elemental relation.
Certain weapons have their own characteristics e.g. Big Axe attacks slowly but deals a lot of damage while the Dagger attacks very fast but deals little damage. Each individual weapon also has its unique multipliers for damage and attack speed making seemingly the same weapons vary in strength.
Spells have set damage, amount of casts and functionality, so their effectiveness depends mostly on their element.
Enemies attack and act in different ways as well as differ in statistics and elements which is indicated by their colour, little indicators above their heads and some visual assets. Additionally, their attack range is indicated by a semi-transparent circle around them.
Melee enemies when in range, explode after a brief charge dealing damage around them.
Ranged enemies when in range, spit a bullet at the player after a brief charge time.
Charging enemies when in range, after a short charge, hurl at the player with great speed dealing damage on touch while charging.
Chasing enemies when in range start chasing the player with increased speed.
If you stay in the water for too long you start drowning and taking damage. The only way to cross over the water is with a blink and the big mass of water may require multiple blinks.
After the finished wave, a timer is stopped so you can prepare for the next one. A portal with the doctor and 2 additional chests spawn in the middle of the map. To heal, click on the doctor with your mouse cursor. To go to the next wave, click on the portal with your mouse cursor, but before that, I recommend checking the map for the best weapons and spells.
Cheat for testing is available, press the [H] button to heal to full health.
